Thank you to Double D Home Improvements for helping me to make my dream kitchen a reality. Your exquisite craftsmanship made it a better reality that what I had spent the last two years planning and envisioning. This is now my favorite room in my home! The finished kitchen is so much better that the dream ever was!
The highlights of your customer service began right at our first meeting. It was so easy to talk with you and see that you understood my budding vision. I was surprised when you told me that you had a kitchen designer who could help me in planning the renovation. Assistance from your designer worked so well in solidifying my vision into the perfect plan. Next you helped me to find the crowning jewel for my kitchen in the wonderful stonework for my countertop and back splash. It was an extra effort on your part that I never expected from a contracting company. I thank you for that. My kitchen would not be the same without that assistance from you.
More than anything, I cannot say enough about your attention to detail and amazing cabinet building craftsmanship. Double D developed creative solutions to existing floor plan difficulties presented in my home that I never could have imagined. You solved a layout problem with removing that angled wall and the unbelievable oak floor weaving install with stain finish matching. I was quite skeptical at first at the prospect of tearing down a wall, laying oak and matching new flooring to the existing. I now have to say that people who visit my home can't tell where the old ends and the new begins. I'm so glad that I trusted you! It has completely changed the function of my kitchen for the better!
Double D's install of the kitchen made it look as if it was always meant to be here. The custom details that you created for me, from my recycling center near the sink to the amazing crown moldings and the beautiful ledge topping the wall that you rebuilt between the kitchen and the living room, are perfection. I actually had a custom furniture builder in my home recently. He said that the crowns were beautiful & obviously "factory built." I had the pleasure of telling him that Double D did that mitering and the install of the crown custom, on site, in my home. He studied the crown some more and said it was amazing work. I agree completely.
I was pleased with how you were so cognizant of the fact that we still lived here during construction. You were careful about minimizing the disruption to the rest of the home while working. You did a wonderful job of cleaning up after yourself at the end of each workday. It helped to minimize the disruption of construction. Hey, you were even nice to my dogs. That was a surprise that I think they even appreciated more than I did!
I found in your ear a craftsman who really listens to his client and then creates the dream she tries to impart with her own amateur words. You have a very thoughtful way about you that made me feel comfortable and heard. That cannot be an easy task when working with people who are not familiar with all of the details involved in remodeling. I felt a partner in the process. Without your help I do not believe I would have the perfect heart to my home that I do now.
If you ever have a client who would like to see my kitchen, please let me know. I would be happy for you to show them your amazing work! I know that I'm so happy to show it to everyone I know! I'm working at becoming a chef worthy of this great kitchen!
